About the Role
Frido is hiring two Full-Stack Software Developer Interns for its in-house technology team in Pune. This is a paid, six-month, full-time, on-site internship where you will work on real production code from the start with support from senior engineers.
You will contribute to Frido's website, built with Next.js, as well as internal tools used across the organization. The role involves developing APIs and backend services, building responsive React components, improving performance and reliability, debugging production issues, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with design, product, marketing, and operations teams.
Requirements & Technical Skills
- ✓Final-year students, recent graduates, and self-taught developers are welcome to apply
- ✓Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent self-taught ability
- ✓Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
- ✓Experience with React.js
- ✓Experience with Next.js
- ✓Knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
- ✓Understanding of REST APIs
- ✓Knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL
- ✓Understanding of scalable API and system design
- ✓Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
- ✓Experience with Tailwind CSS
- ✓Familiarity with Git and GitHub
- ✓Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills
- ✓Familiarity with Figma
- ✓GitHub profile, portfolio, or at least one live project
- ✓Ability to work full-time on-site in Pune for six months
- ✓TypeScript experience is a plus
- ✓Exposure to GCP or AWS is a plus
- ✓Knowledge of CI/CD and cloud deployment is a plus
- ✓Experience with web performance and SEO is a plus
