About the Role
Intel is seeking a Development Tools Software Engineering Contract Employee to join its Engineering team in Bangalore. In this hybrid role, you will help design, develop, and optimize software development tools that improve developer productivity and code quality. You will collaborate with software engineers, architects, and product teams to build development frameworks, enhance CI/CD workflows, perform debugging and testing, and contribute to innovative software solutions that support Intel's next-generation platforms.
Requirements & Technical Skills
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- ✓Proficiency in Python, C, C++, Java, or another programming language
- ✓Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- ✓Knowledge of software quality assurance and testing methodologies
- ✓Experience with CI/CD processes and workflows
- ✓Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles
- ✓Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or VS Code
- ✓Knowledge of scripting languages for automation is a plus
- ✓Experience with code reviews and collaborative software development
- ✓Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment
- ✓Passion for learning new technologies and improving developer productivity
