About the Role
Caterpillar is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Technology, Digital and Data team. In this role, you will collaborate with global development teams to implement and support OneTrust cookie compliance solutions across multiple websites. You will assist with website audits, maintain compliance modules, provide post-implementation support, and build expertise in web tracking technologies while ensuring adherence to organizational compliance policies.
Requirements & Technical Skills
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- ✓Experience in software development with front-end technologies
- ✓Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- ✓Working knowledge of Python scripting
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- ✓Experience with OneTrust or similar cookie compliance tools is a plus
- ✓Understanding of cookies and web tracking technologies
- ✓Familiarity with website auditing and compliance processes
- ✓Knowledge of web development best practices
- ✓Ability to collaborate with global development teams
- ✓Willingness to learn new technologies and compliance standards
