About the Role
Honeywell is looking for a Software Engr I to join its Engineering team in Bengaluru. In this hybrid role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions that support Honeywell's automation, aerospace, energy, and industrial technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, high-quality software while following engineering best practices.
Requirements & Technical Skills
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field
- ✓Strong programming skills in Java, C++, Python, or similar languages
- ✓Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- ✓Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
- ✓Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- ✓Experience with Git or other version control systems
- ✓Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
- ✓Understanding of REST APIs and web services
- ✓Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment
- ✓Willingness to learn new technologies
